I just would like to say Holliday is AWESOME at what she does! She helped me with my wedding - from the invitations to the favors, and by just keeping everyone calm! Holliday is my family and I don’t know if I would have been able to make it through all that planning without her and my mom.... She made my day so special for me and my husband. I am so thankful for her and what she has done!

Thank you SO much Holliday!!! I Love You!

Three ways to increase attendance

Reader advice varies quite a bit but shares a common thread: Time is a rare commodity these days. Calendars fill up quickly, and attendees are sensitive to the need for a higher payoff. That applies to events across town or across the country, at destination resorts. Readers suggest three ways to get your numbers up:

  • Make minor changes for a major difference.
  • Target your audience carefully.
  • Hold fewer events but make them memorable.

"People get bored with the same event," say Holliday Lisowski, owner of Plan-It. "You could change venues, change room setups or just the order of your program. Even the smallest tweak can seem like a big, fun change to your attendees," Lisowski says. Especially, if you promote the event in a way that builds anticipation -- perhaps with inexpensive postcard "teaser" mailings or an e-mail campaign.

My mother’s 50th birthday celebration was truly amazing, thanks to you Holliday! From the moment I mentioned throwing her a surprise party, you took the initiative and started getting things together. With your expertise and creativity, you were able to take my small idea and turn it into such a wonderful evening that my family and I will never forget. The biggest challenge was my small budget. You were willing and able to work within my limits, and the result was more than I had imagined. The set-up was stunning. And you didn’t just stop there. Throughout the whole evening you were making sure that all the guests were comfortable, the decorations was in place, and the food trays were full at all times. I’m very thankful for that because I too was able to mingle and enjoy the evening with my mom without having to worry about all the little details. I couldn’t thank you enough for all of your hard work! The look on my mother’s face when she arrived at the party was priceless! Thank you for allowing me to give her that special night!

Thanks,
Chea Hott

I just wanted to thank you so much for all you have done for Kristin on the fundraiser to send her to Hawaii! The way you pulled it off from across the country at the last minute and came up with several ideas and a fundraising letter when all I did was send you the information. It was truly awesome and we really appreciate your hard work. It means so much to Kristin being able to cheer in the Hula Bowl and that is all thanks to you!!! And of course all the generous supporters who donated the funds to make her dreams come true. We will let you know how everything goes and provide you with pictures from the event.

Thanks Again!!!!!!

Re: Holliday Lisowski
To: Whom it may concern

Holliday Lisowski is an individual that I would highly recommend for any position that involves planning, organizing, and creativity. She is highly skilled in each of these areas. I have had the privilege of working with her on many projects for the last 7-8 years and she has always surpassed my expectations.

Specifically, we planned numerous meetings, seminars, trainings, celebrations, galas, fund raising activities and many other events. She is very professional, courteous and is definitely a person that will get the job done with much attention paid to every single detail.

Should you have any questions, or would like additional information, please feel free to contact my office.
