Even the smallest tweak can seem like a big, fun change to your attendees," Lisowski says. Especially, if you promote the event in a way that builds anticipation -- perhaps with inexpensive postcard "teaser" mailings or an e-mail campaign.

My mother’s 50th birthday celebration was truly amazing, thanks to you Holliday! From the moment I mentioned throwing her a surprise party, you took the initiative and started getting things together. With your expertise and creativity, you were able to take my small idea and turn it into such a wonderful evening that my family and I will never forget. The biggest challenge was my small budget. You were willing and able to work within my limits, and the result was more than I had imagined. The set-up was stunning. And you didn’t just stop there. Throughout the whole evening you were making sure that all the guests were comfortable, the decorations was in place, and the food trays were full at all times.
